Cinnamon Cooking

Culinary uses:

Suited to both sweet and savoury dishes, cinnamon is particularly good with lamb in Moroccan tagines and Iranian Khoraks; in rice dishes; in fruit compotes(especially pear); in chocolate deserts, cakes and drinks(mulled wine); in spice breads and as cinnamon toast.

Oh and you can also use it to make insense, pomanders and pot-pourris.

About Us

It all started with Big Red.

As American as Apple Pie, John Wayne and the Statue of Liberty (well Ok that's French, but you know what I mean).

Wrigley's Big Red is the reason for this web site really, we fell in love with its cinnamony goodness years ago. On Holiday, we would be out in the morning, a Denny's Grand Slam Slugger and afterwards a fresh stick of BR, ahhhh! bliss. We then moved on the the harder stuff, we thought we could say no, but it was really much too late, cinnamon coated Dunkin Donuts, the Pilsbury Cinnamon Rolls, Cinnabons, TJ Cinnamon Rolls, it was a slippery slide, result Cinnamon dependancy and wow do we love it. Now any recipe that mentions Cinnamon in it we have to double the quantity and even then we say 'do you taste the Cinnamon - Nah!')

Wrigley's tried to market BR in the UK a few years ago, but maybe they thought we were just couldn't handle the greatest Gum in the world. A few years ago we started trafficing in Gum, a few packs in the suitcase when we came back, then a few Pilsbury Grands Cinnamon rolls, then I made the mistake of asking friends to try a stick, then they expected me to bring them back some and this has got to such an extreme we thought it was time to spread the word and the word is Cinnamon.

Now have have figatively gone back to the roots of the company and will be selling Cinnamon products in the United States of America
